My son and daughter both got a Nintendo DS game system for Christmas this past year. One of the games we got my daughter was the American Girl: Julie Finds a Way game. I thought the game would be a bit challenging for her, but she took to it very quickly and wouldn't put it down! So much, in fact, that she didn't play any of the other 3 games she got until a week or so later. She has already finished the story once and is on her way to finishing it again. Honestly, I didn't really think that she would play with it again once she finished, but she really likes it a lot. She has a Julie doll and really likes her, so I guess that is why she is into it more than the other games. I love to sit and watch her play it because I am just as interested as she is in the Nintendo DS game system.

If you are not familiar with the story it is about a new girl who's got a whole new story to tell. Julie Albright is a 9 year old girl growing up in the United States in 1975. Play as Julie at the time of America's bicentennial (1975-1976) following the American Girl: Julie series of books. If your daughter is into games, I would seriously pick this one up!
